Court Gentry is a former CIA Special Activities Division operations officer.

Character Description[]
After being released from prison by CIA agent Donald Fitzroy, Six is recruited into the Sierra program, an elite squad that operates off the books. When he finds evidence that can incriminate certain members of the agency, he's targeted by Lloyd Hansen, a rogue CIA contractor.[1]

Gentry was born in 1980. In 1995, he was incarcerated for killing his abusive father to protect himself and his brother. In 2003, Court was recruited out of a state prison in Florida by Donald Fitzroy for the CIA's Sierra Program. He was later trained at a Dark Site in Tel Aviv.
Meeting Claire Fitzroy[]

Two years before the events in Bangkok, he was assigned by Fitzroy and Margaret Cahill to guard Fitzroy's niece Claire Fitzroy, after Fitzroy's address was leaked to the press. Gentry and Claire formed a bond after he saved her life, when her pacemaker malfunctioned and he rushed her to the hospital and later when the attacker went to Fitzroy's place to assassinate Claire, when she plays Mark Lindsay's "Silver Bird" on her record player.
History[]
Sierra Four handed Six a hard drive with incriminating evidence against Carmichael before he died.
18 years later, Courtland is now known as Sierra Six, working with fellow CIA agent Dani Miranda in order to assassinate a target named Dining Car suspected of selling off national security secrets in Bangkok. They first attempt to kill the target using stealth, but this proves unsuccessful when a child is in the way, which Courtland refuses to engage with. This angers CIA official Denny Carmichael, who orders him to attack even if it means hurting the child. Refusing once more, he attacks Dining Car directly, mortally wounding him. However, much to Courtland's surprise, Dining Car reveals he was also in the Sierra program, previously known as Sierra Four. Both of them fight, with Courtland eventually gaining the upper hand, mortally wounding Sierra Four. However, before he dies, he hands Six an encrypted drive detailing the corruption of CIA official Denny Carmichael, the lead agent on the assassination mission. Courtland is confused and approached by Dani, who takes evidence of the now dead Sierra Four.
Carmichael confronts Six, asking if Four had given him any information that he wanted to give him. However, Carmichael is elusive about the true purpose of the mission and the contents of the drive, and Six refuses evacuation from Bangkok with Carmichael's men, telling Dani to go by herself. Sending the drive to former Sierra Program handler Margaret Cahill in Prague, he calls a now-retired Fitzroy to request extraction.
Fitzroy helped Six until approached by Lloyd Hansen, who revealed he had his niece in his possession. After learning this, Fitzroy was left with no choice but to betray Six and authorize to have the extraction team kill Six.
However, Six manages to escape and heads to Vienna to find the serial number of Claire's pacemaker from Laszlo Sosa, but he betrays him for the bounty which Hansen placed on his head, making him stand on a floor trap which leads him to fall into a hole. Dani runs over to help Six in order to bring him into the CIA in order to salvage her career. Six escapes just as Hansen arrives with his team and kills Sosa, while Six kills all of Hansen's teammates and is rescued by Miranda from Hansen.
Six convinces Dani to drive him to Cahill's apartment in Prague, where she decrypts the drive. It reveals the extent of Carmichael's corruption on behalf of a mysterious benefactor working for a shadow government. Hansen sends several teams of assassins to Cahill, and the terminally ill Cahill blows up her home, so Six and Miranda can escape.
Six was tied to a bench in Prague, where he was forced to fend off the mercenaries that Lloyd sent.
Six is arrested and handcuffed in downtown Prague. A massive shootout results in all the police officers present slaughtered and Six escapes on a tram. After a long chase and gun battle, Six is once again saved by Miranda, in Cahill's bulletproof car. They infiltrate a hospital to track down Claire through her pacemaker's wireless signal.
Following them to the hospital, Lone Wolf steals the drive from them after a big fight, knocking them out, and bringing it to Hansen in order to get paid. However, he is surprised to learn that Hansen was planning on killing a child.
Six and Miranda follow the pacemaker to Hansen's base. She creates a distraction while he infiltrates the mansion rescuing Fitzroy and Claire. Mortally wounded as they flee, Fitzroy sacrifices himself attempting to kill Hansen.
Hansen takes Claire hostage and drags her into a hedge maze. After a standoff, he lets go of Claire and fights with Six. Before Six can kill him, Brewer shoots Hansen. She then tells Six that she plans to pin Carmichael's actions on Hansen to gain leverage over him. Furthermore, Brewer pledges Claire's safety, but only if Six continues to work for the CIA.
After everything, Six managed to escape and went straight to save Claire.
Six and Miranda are forced to co-operate in the cover-up, where ultimately no action is taken against Carmichael. After the debriefing at the CIA headquarters, Miranda threatens to kill Carmichael if any harm comes to Claire. Six escapes custody and frees Claire, who is being held at a secret location.
Skills and Abilities[]
- Master Assassin: In the party in Thailand, when Six was going after Sierra Four, he took out many opponents with ease without being spotted or noticed.
- Master Marksman: Six is shown in Prague going against wave of opponents while handcuffed, taking them out with ease. He also took out an opponent while on the top of a tram car. During the entire Prague shootout, he is shown killing opponents with either 1 or 2 shots.

- Master Martial Artist: Six is proven to be a very skilled fighter, able to tear through many high-skilled operatives. He is shown facing many tough opponents such as Sierra Four, who was considered by Fitzroy to be elite enough to join the Sierra program. Six also faces many mercenaries sent by Lloyd Hansen all while handcuffed to a bench in the middle of Prague while also targeted by gunners. He's able to break free and escape from the scene without any major injuries. Six later faces Lloyd Hansen, another very skilled fighter who is only to gain the upper hand when using a knife against the unarmed Six.
- Weapon Improvisation: Six uses a flare to fight against the mercenaries in the plane. He also uses defibrillators against the assassin Lone Wolf. When Six first meets Claire, he protects her from an intruder by beating them down with a flashlight and killing them. In Bangkok, when going after Sierra Four, he takes a hair pin from one of the party guests and uses it to stab an opponent in the neck, killing them.

- Preternatural Will: Six's will is beyond understanding, beyond normal or regular, meaning that sometimes he can't be understood by people, or what drives him to do the things that he does, and he won't stop until he gets what he wants.
Weaknesses[]
- Six is very loyal to the people he cares for and as such, he often finds himself risking his life in order to protect those people. The people he cares for are attacked by Lloyd Hansen when he tries to get to him, knowing that Six would rush to help save both Fitzroy and his niece Claire who was in trouble.
