For the book version, see Claire Fitzroy.

Claire Fitzroy is the young orphaned niece of former CIA Senior Officer Donald Fitzroy, who has a heart condition, which required her to have a pacemaker. She develops a bond with Court Gentry after he saves her life, when her pacemaker malfunctioned and he rushed her to the hospital and later when the attacker went to Fitzroy's place to assassinate Claire, when she plays Mark Lindsay's "Silver Bird" on her record player.

She is portrayed by Julia Butters.

Character Description[]

While Six is on the run, Fitzroy's young and sarcastic niece, Claire, gets dragged into the struggle between Hansen and Six. Claire was born with a heart defect and now has a high-tech pacemaker that enables her location to be tracked when necessary.[1]

The Gray Man (film)[]

When trying to get a drive that could incriminate Carmichael back, Lloyd Hansen does not attack Fitzroy directly either, but rather chooses to attack his niece Claire, forcing Fitzroy to authorize Six's murder by an extraction team. However, Six is able to fight all of them off and escapes, calling Fitzroy from Turkey. Fitzroy reveals that he had no choice but to betray him and Lloyd decides to talk to Six directly, saying that he would get the drive from him by using force.

Carmichael sends his subordinate Suzanne Brewer to oversee Hansen and keep him in line. Hansen keeps Claire hostage in a mansion in Croatia, at his base of operations. He also puts a massive bounty on Six's head to get mercenaries and assassins to hunt him down.

Claire is kept by Hansen until both Six and Dani use her pacemaker to track her down. Six and Miranda follow the pacemaker to Hansen's base. She creates a distraction while he infiltrates the mansion rescuing Fitzroy and Claire. Mortally wounded as they flee, Fitzroy sacrifices himself attempting to kill Hansen. Miranda knocks out Hansen's men, but Lone Wolf narrowly escapes. He defeats her in a fight, but gives her the drive, having become disgusted with Hansen's lack of morals and honour.

Hansen takes Claire hostage and drags her into a hedge maze. After a standoff, he lets go of Claire and fights with Six. Before Six can kill him, Brewer shoots Hansen. She then tells Six that she plans to pin Carmichael's actions on Hansen to gain leverage over him. Furthermore, Brewer pledges Claire's safety, but only if Six continues to work for the CIA.

Six frees Claire

After everything, Six managed to escape and went straight to save Claire.

Six and Miranda are forced to co-operate in the cover-up, where ultimately no action is taken against Carmichael. After the debriefing at the CIA headquarters, Miranda threatens to kill Carmichael if any harm comes to Claire. Six escapes custody and frees Claire, who is being held at a secret location.
